About the Event

An opportunity for Caribbean Governors to have a conversation with Caribbean staff from the WBG and the IMF on issues of strategic economic importance for the development of the region during the 2018 Spring Meetings. As keynote speaker and CARICOM Chair, authorities from Haiti will provide insights on the challenges and opportunities facing the Caribbean. More specifically, Minister Salomon will speak about post-disaster challenges and opportunities in working with international financial partners and Governor Dubois will speak about the impact of natural disasters on financial inclusion.

Organized by the Caribbean Governors of the WBG and IMF in collaboration with the Caribbean Association of WBG and IMF Staff (CAWI), as part of a regular conversations with Caribbean staff during the WBG/IMF Annual and Spring Meetings.
